The Town of Thomaston has openings for Recording Secretaries. Job type:  contractor.  Salary is a stipend for the production of each set of meeting minutes:  $100.00 per meeting.

The Boards and Commissions have regularly scheduled monthly meetings and can include special meetings as they occur.  Openings are for the following Boards and Commissions:

 
Planning & Zoning Commission
Aquifer Protection Agency (quarterly)
Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission (includes Conservation sub-committee)
Zoning Board of Appeals
Economic Development Commission
Plan of Conservation & Development

Description:
LAND USE ADMINISTRATOR

This FT position is responsible for inspections, investigations, enforcement & administrative duties for compliance with town zoning, inland wetlands, state, & federal statutes. Conducts planning and economic development activities.  Supervises staff and oversees department policies and procedures.  BS degree in planning, environmental or engineering fields or similar desired but not required.  Must have certifications in zoning and inland wetlands or obtain within one year.  Interested candidates may submit their application/resume w/salary requirements by September 27, 2024 to:
