You may have noticed that recently Recycling Receptacles have been distributed in the Downtown Business District. Those receptacles as well as numerous others, that will be distributed in the parks come Spring, were purchased at no expense to our local taxpayers through a grant program sponsored by CTDEEP. We are constantly seeking opportunities for grants to improve life in our community and this is just one of many opportunities that we have pursued to that end. Please use the recycling bins correctly so that this waste can be disposed of with no cost to our town and help make America green.
