8/10/2017 - LED Streetlights
The Town will be soon converting streetlights from the conventional form to LED starting in September. The entire process is expected to take approximately 3 months to install new fixtures. Doing so will substantially decrease our cost to provide this service and will be performed at no additional expense to the Town as this will serve to satisfy a contract we previously had been a party to with Johnson Controls for energy performance. Sample lights are to be installed by several manufacturers for us to determine that which we deem best for our community by August 28th.
