Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 6 & 72 Thomaston/Plymouth
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 6 & 72 Thomaston/Plymouth from RT 222 To the Bristol Town Line.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 5.38-mile segment of Route 6 & 72 in Thomaston/Plymouth. The milling of this project is scheduled to start on Sunday, August 27, 2023, and be completed Sunday September 10, 2023. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Sunday September 10, 2023, and be completed on Tuesday September 26, 2023.

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 pm to 5:00 am. (Sunday - Thursday).
