Mother Nature seems to be working against the Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston's free concert series this year!  Based on the reports of possible thunderstorms, we are moving tonight's concert with Country Steel to the Thomaston Opera House at 7 pm.  Thanks for your understanding.

The Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston continues its 20th year of free summer concerts in the park with a performance by Country Steel.  Due to planned renovations to the usual venue, this concert will be held in Reeves Field, North Main St. behind JDT’s Restaurant, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday, July 3rd.  The corporate sponsor for the Summer Concert Series is the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation. 

Country Steel is a modern country band consisting of 5 musicians packing a powerful punch of country!! Playing all of your modern country favorites, Country Steel delivers a high energy performance. With Charles David Lowe on drums, Bobbi Jo on lead vocals, Gina Beligni on backup, Steve Grinold on guitar, and Kevin Read on bass and vocals you’re sure to have good times, great fun, and awesome music!!

Reeves Field is handicap accessible.  The Town of Thomaston does not permit liquor in its Parks.  Bring your lawn chair or blanket, and prepare to sit back and enjoy the wonder of live music!  In the event of inclement weather, this concert will move to the Thomaston Opera House, 158 Main St.  To check weather status, visit the website at www.thomastonfinearts.com.
