Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston Free Summer Concert Series

The Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston announces its 19th year of free summer concerts in Seth Thomas Park on South Main St., from 7 PM to 8:30 PM each summer Monday night, beginning on June 20th.  The corporate sponsor for the Summer Concert Series is the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation.

The opening concert on June 20th features the perennially popular group, Parkway Diner, who first graced the Thomaston stage in 2019 to rave reviews.  Parkway Diner is comprised of keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, vocals and saxophone, and features the classic hits of superstar Billy Joel.  They are returning to Thomaston by popular demand.

Other bands in the series include the easy jazz sound of Jeff Fuller & Friends on June 27th; original bluegrass and swing with Too Blue on July 4th; The Tradesmen, come with their combination of rock, blues, oldies and country on July 11th; The Kerry Boys return to Thomaston with their Irish music on July 18th; Old School returns with their classic oldies on July 25th; the alternative folk rock sound of Kenn Morr comes in on August 1st; The Shed Rats return with their stylings of Grateful Dead/Dylan/Blues/Rock/American Roots on August 8th; and newcomer Grayson Ty comes in with his duo featuring folk/R&B/pop/original songs to close out the series on August 15th.  In case of rain, concerts will be held in the Thomaston Opera House, 158 Main St. in Thomaston, with the exception of the July 11th concert, when the concert is postponed to August 22nd.

Seth Thomas Park is handicap accessible.  The Town of Thomaston does not permit liquor in its Parks.  Bring your lawn chair or blanket, and prepare to sit back and enjoy the wonder of live music!  For further information, visit the website at www.thomastonfinearts.com.
