The Town of Thomaston has received its distribution of test kits today. We have been given approximately one half of what was previously promised and as such with extremely limited quantities will only give one test kit (2 tests per kit) to each household. No masks have been received. This will be limited to Thomaston Residents Only. Residents MUST produce proof of residency. Distribution will occur on Tuesday January 4th beginning at 4:30 p.m. until all are gone. The product will be given out in a drive-by manner at the rear of Town Hall. Cars must enter between the Library and Saint Peters Church, and form a line. Upon receipt of kit exit via Clay Street.
I must emphasize, We have limited amount of kits! This is why we will only give one kit per household. We also fully expect that we will run out before all who wish them will receive one. Please be understanding as we in Thomaston have no control over quantity we receive. That is solely determined by the State of Connecticut.
Should we receive more test kits or the masks that where previously promised, we will arrange for further distribution.
