The electors and those persons eligible to vote in town meetings of the Town of Thomaston, Connecticut, are hereby warned and notified that a Special Town Meeting will be held in the Lena Morton Gallery at the Thomaston Town Hall, 158 Main Street, Thomaston, Connecticut on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
- As recommended by the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Finance, to consider and act on year-end transfers for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019 in the amounts of (a) $73,042.55 from Contingency and Street Lighting to the Snow and Ice and Public Works accounts and (b) $304,060.00 from Special Education Excess Grants to Education to offset overruns.
