Light Up Thomaston

Event is Held First Saturday After Thanksgiving 6:00 PM

This year is the 26th Celebration of Light Up Thomaston!  We ae very excited to be planning our event after Covid caused us to cancel last year.

As you may know, the aim of Light Up Thomaston has been to provide a night of free food, fun and entertainment for all who come.  It is a night for families to come together in our community and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. It is a tradition that draws crowds of thousands from our town and many towns and communities around us.

This event closes down Main Street for the evening so we can provide a parade, live entertainment, roaming railroad, horse and carriage rides, a petting zoo, face painting, balloon bending, free refreshments and, of course, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

We fundraise each year to fund the next year's activities.  Light Up Thomaston is funded solely by public support and we need you in order to accomplish our goal.

In order to continue the tradition of making this a free event for families, we would ask that you please help by sending a donation to https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=STTU76CXBXR7C.

In addition to monetary donations, we have other ways for participants to contribute to our celebration.  Our annual Festival of Trees fundraiser which includes themed gift baskets or handmade gifts is open to everyone to take their chances on winning through a chance raffle.  This will be new this year, having always done an open bid auction in the past.  If you are interested in decorating a tree, donating a gift basket or other handmade item for our chance raffle, please email inquiries to Shelley Armstrong at lightupthomaston@yahoo.com.

We thank you for your continued support and contributions.
