Mission Statement

"The mission of the Town of Thomaston Social Services is to provide all town residents with resources and assistance that improves and explores options and possibilities to enhance hope for the future."

Social Services Office 

The Thomaston Social Services Office will be open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm.  Our office phone number is (860) 283-0756 and fax number is (860) 283-1378.

Our office will continue to offer referral services as well as assist with variety of local programs, including the Thomaston Crisis Fund, the New Beginnings school clothing program and seasonal donation programs, the Thomaston Christmas program, the Rotary Fuel Fund and Salvation Army assistance.

Our office also provides information and sign-ups for the Town's minibus for seniors and the disabled.  Our bus operates three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday), free of charge.

The designated homelessness liaison for the Town of Thomaston is Emma Williams.  If you are experiencing homelessness or may be at risk, please reach out to Emma at (860) 283-0756.
