Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals is an eight member Board consisting of five regular members and three alternate members. The Board was established by an Ordinance adopted at a Town Meeting February 9, 1971 the Zoning Board of Appeals is an administrative agency which acts in a quasi-judicial manner.

The Zoning Board of Appeals hears applications as follows:
- Requests to vary the Zoning Regulations.
- Appeals from the decision of the Zoning Enforcement Officer.
- Applications for approval of location of New and Used Car Dealerships.
- Approva of location for Car Repair Faciities.
- Approval of location of Gasoline Sales.
- Certificates of Use.
