Black Rock Field

Black Rock Field is located on Route 109 in Thomaston, between the Thomaston High School and Black Rock School.

This location has:

  • A Little League sized skinned infield which can be used for youth baseball or softball. Scheduling of this facility is done through the Athletic Director of Thomaston High School, Alex Sconziano, during the school year. Scheduling during the summer months is done through the  Recreation Director, Marty Egan.
  • A major league baseball diamond, which can be used for youth or men's baseball. Scheduling of this facility is done through the Athletic Director of Thomaston High School, Alex Sconziano, during the school year. Scheduling during the summer months is done through the  Recreation Director, Marty Egan.
  • A large-scale playground complete with swings, slides, and various playscape items.

All of these items including the athletic field and the playground equipment are off limits to the public during the school day from 7:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M.
